Cardiocrinum Plant Profile and Growing Notes for the USA
Growing cardiocrinum is either done from an established bulb or offset or from seed. Growing cardiocrinum from seed to flowering takes about 9 years. But a 2m high lily with great drooping flowers on a huge stem, its worth the wait. Of course you could just buy an advanced bulb and not wait so long. In the USA Cardiocrinum require shade and moisture (and patience). But will be a talking point. We grew ours from seed.
