Ginkgo Trees

Wholesale Ginkgo Trees for sale in the USA

One of natures true wonders, the Ginkgo tree, Ginkgo biloba and its cultivars are a very popular landscaping tree. Wholesalers offer a number of varieties including dwarf forms. Commonly called the maidenhair tree, the Ginkgo is a living fossil, dating back millions of years.

Grown both as an ornamental tree as well as for its supposed medicinal uses this is a very popular tree in cooler climate gardens. The foliage is unique, fan shaped leaves of a good green in color, and in fall the buttery yellow color is an added attraction.

Although the species is a medium to large growing tree, it is slow growing, especially so in cultivation. It is not a tree that casts deep shade so is well suited to growing in lawns or in the garden border where it can easily be under-planted.

A number of cultivars have been developed over the years making the most of the natural variation in the species.
